DRAW IT. DESIGN IT. MAKE IT.: I focus on all aspects of design, taking a lot of inspiration from floral, combining them with other themes and concepts. I love the way nature can produce flowers which intertwine with each other in so many different ways and no collection of flowers in the garden can ever be the same. I try to take this idea through to my design work by drawing and printing collections of floral to show movement and shape. One of my major influences is Georgia O Keefe and the way she paints flowers in such a bold way but still keeping a high level of delicacy. I am an enthusiastic, proactive student and have already taken part in a number of live projects such as Tiger Print Gift Company, Bradford Textiles Society and Indigo in Paris.
